A card is selected and lost in the deck. The card rises to the top, but when turned over, it is the wrong card. The magician rips the card in frustration and hands it to the spectator to hold. The spectator reveals which card they picked. The magician goes through and finds the card in the middle of the deck. With a snap the card changes into the card which was just ripped into pieces. (Now it's restored). The spectator opens their hand to find that the pieces they were holding now pieces of the card they originally picked. What's more, they are instructed to squeeze the pieces again and upon opening their hand, they find their card is folded up, completely restored.
This effect, has gott more requests to be shown again than almost any other trick I do.
