Bluff Pass

A card is selected. The performer simply riffles the corner of the deck and has the spectator stop him/ her at any moment. The magician lifts off the cards above that point and invites the spectator to place their card on top of the lower half. The deck is reassembled. Unknown to the spectators, the selected card has been controlled!
